FMC WECO STYLE HAMMER UNIONS
Hammer unions, also called wing unions, are one of the most common connection types in oil and gas industry as its reliable, heavy-duty, high-pressure for flow lines at drilling sites. They are recommended to be used for manifold line connections, pump suction & mud services, well test piping lines up to 4000psi to run water, oil or mud.

WECO Hammer Union Seals
Lip type seal ring is an elastomer component, as a secondary seal to protect metal-to-metal against corrosion, which minimizes fluid flow turbulence while creating a pressure seal. Depending on the union figure it can be a lip type “seal ring” or an “O-ring”. Different material s are available to suit for different fluid service. Buna-N (NBR) is common for standard service, Viton (FKM) for H2S service.
