4 inch or 5 inch sizes. The same nut and 'O' ring are used in both sizes, male
and female blanking caps are also available.

WECO Hammer Union Seals
Lip type seal ring is an elastomer component, as a secondary seal to protect metal-to-metal against corrosion, which minimizes fluid flow turbulence while creating a pressure seal. Depending on the union figure it can be a lip type “seal ring” or an “O-ring”. Different material s are available to suit for different fluid service. Buna-N (NBR) is common for standard service, Viton (FKM) for H2S service.
